Appointment Services

During your first appointment you will describe the current and past emotional health challenges you have dealt with in your life. Your clinician will spend time getting to know you and getting an understanding about how your challenges have made it difficult for you to live your best life. Your clinician will ask questions to help define a diagnosis. This will help your clinician use scientifically backed practices to advise you on potential treatment options. Finally, you and your clinician will collaborate on developing your treatment plan that will optimize hope and balance in your life.

At medication management follow up appointments you will talk with your clinician about the experiences you have had since your last time meeting. Your clinician will ask about the improvements and set backs you have faced since initiating your treatment plan. These appointments are used to provide brief therapy, medication adjustments and to fine tune health behaviors to continue to optimize hope and balance.

Therapy provides a safe place for you to identify what is out of balance in your life. You will set goals with your therapist to restore hope and balance in you life. Our therapists use evidence based practices such as as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Solution Focused and Gestalt Therapy. You will learn to recognize the connection between your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. You will learn skills to help you cope with unwanted emotions and to help you make lasting changes in your life.
